Ron enjoyed a 40+ year career in the investment industry and was the co-founder and former CEO of AssetMark, one of the nation’s leading managed account platforms with over $140 billion in assets under management. He is also the co-author of The Art of Investing, published by McGraw Hill, and was recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Today, Ron continues his board leadership as a corporate board member of Pathstone and Definiti, and as an advisory board member for Greenwheel and Rebalance Capital.
Since co-founding the Cordes Foundation in 2006 with his wife, Marty, Ron has focused his work on impact investing and social entrepreneurship. His leadership in this space has been widely recognized and featured in publications including The New York Times, Barron’s, Fast Company, Forbes, and FORTUNE.
